Anti-Money Laundering Policy
We check who our players are and keep an eye on how money moves through accounts. These checks keep the casino safe, protect your account and help stop money laundering and fraud.
Why do we verify players?
We welcome sign-ups only where gambling is allowed by law, and we keep to Canadian requirements on minimum age, identity checks and anti-money laundering. Verifying your details lets us:
- Confirm that every player is 19+.
- Confirm that every account is held by a genuine individual whose identity matches what they claim.
- Block the use of stolen cards or hijacked accounts on our site.
- Pay withdrawals quickly to the right person.
Do we keep watching accounts after sign-up?
Yes. Our checks carry on after registration: while your account remains open, we keep watching the way it is being used.
- We look for patterns such as a large deposit, then very little play, then a quick withdrawal.
- We look for deposits split across many payment methods or made in unusual amounts.
- Where possible, withdrawals are returned to a verified payment method registered in your name: Interac e-Transfer, Visa or Apple Pay.
- The monthly withdrawal limit is C$10 000.
- Unusual activity can lead to a pause on the account while we look into it.
When will we ask where my money comes from?
Certain activity means we need more information on the funds you play with. Examples include large deposits, a sudden change in spending or an alert from our monitoring.
- We can accept pay stubs, statements from your bank, tax records, or documents showing you sold a property or received an inheritance.
- We request only the information that is necessary and process it in line with our Privacy Notice.
- Withdrawals can pause until the check is complete.
Which records are kept, and who receives reports?
Canadian law requires us to keep records and to speak up about suspicious activity.
- We keep identity documents, the results of verification checks and transaction history for the period the law sets, even after an account has been closed.
- We file reports with the appropriate Canadian authorities where the law requires it, including reports on suspicious transactions.
- In some cases, the law forbids us from telling a player that a report was made.
- Our team gets regular training to spot warning signs.
How are age and identity verified, and which documents are needed?
Electronic checks come first, before you deposit. If they do not verify your details, we will request documents via your account. Clear photos or scans are accepted.
- Photo ID: a current, unexpired passport or driver's licence.
- Proof of address: a document dated within the last few months, with your home address and full name on it. Bank statements, utility bills and official government letters are all fine.
- Payment proof: photograph your card, keeping the middle digits hidden, or grab a screenshot of the account page in your e-wallet. This confirms the payment method belongs to you.
- Location: a geolocation check before any deposit.
Are players screened against sanctions and politically exposed person lists?
Yes. Screening takes place at registration and is repeated at regular intervals.
- Politically exposed persons go through tougher checks, and the same goes for close associates and relatives.
- Anyone on a Canadian or international sanctions list cannot hold an account.
- If a match comes up, you may need to tell us where your funds come from before play can continue.
What happens when verification fails?
- We pause deposits, play and withdrawals while we work with you to fix the issue.
- You can send missing or unclear documents again at any time.
- We close an account when identity or age cannot be confirmed, or when documents prove to be fake.
- Winnings on accounts closed for fraud or false details are void.
- We return deposits where the law allows it.
- When the law requires it, we file reports with the relevant authorities.
Who do I contact about verification?
Email [email protected] with any question about checks or documents. Please upload documents through your account rather than sending them by email, unless our team asks you to email them. Uploading is the safest way.
